Pink Curtains in 'The Pink House'

We recently did a curtain collaboration with AMARA award winning blogger, Emily Murray of The Pink House.

“It's all in the name”, we knew that it was going be all about pink even down to the test swatches of paint on the front door of her period home in South East London.

 Sitting room with upholstered furniture

Emily's sitting room was being completely transformed with dramatic Farrow and Ball 'Hague Blue' on the walls and beautiful bespoke cabinetry into the alcoves. From a selection of pink toned fabrics, Emily knew instantly a beautiful pale blush velvet 'Milborne Tea Rose' from GP & J Baker would complement the Hague Blue perfectly.

We paired the fabric with a bespoke 25mm brushed brass-finish curtain pole from ‘The Bradley Collection’. To give the velvet a contemporary look we went with a cartridge heading pleat. This design really complemented Emily’s window which has stunning views of London.

The curtains were fitted last week by our amazing professional curtain fitter in time for a Christmas magazine feature photo-shoot.

Best wishes,
